Masala Peanuts

(recipe stolen from internet: heheheh. And few own steps added)

Ingredients needed:
  • Raw peanuts - 1 cup
  • Chana besan flour (kadalai maavu) - 1/4 cup
  • Rice flour - 2 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Minced Garlic - 2
  • Asafoetida/Hing - a pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Oil - 2 tsp
  • Finely chopped curry leaves (10) (My own addition)
  • Fried onions - 2 tsp (my own addition)
  • Few broken cashewnuts (10) (my own addition)
Method:

Mix the above ingredients in water (slowly add water) and make it a nice paste. Place the above contents in a microwavable plate. Spread them nicely. Microwave the above in high heat for 4 minutes. Flip over the peanuts in between (roughly 2 minutes). Check if the peanuts are good. You can cook an additional minute if you want it crispy. This can be served as a snack for kids. Adults can eat this with chilled beer.

Note: You can also fry them in oil instead of microwave.
